Request financial aid

Congratulations on your initiatives, efforts and activities, and thank you for your interest in the Foundation.


Please read the eligibility clause and procedures below carefully to ensure that you meet all the criteria. This will help avoid processing delays.


ELIGIBILITY


For more than 45 years, the Boulanger-Bédard Foundation has supported youth organizations in our region, investing more than $1,300,000 in physical, cultural, artistic and educational projects. In order to preserve our charitable status, our support is exclusively directed to non-profit organizations or volunteer groups, as well as to activities specifically dedicated to youth and families.


Please note that the Foundation gives preference to applications that receive funding from other sources in addition to that requested from the Foundation.



PROCEDURE AND PRECISIONS


1. Application submission

  1. The organization must duly complete the financial assistance application form.
  2. Any application that is incomplete or does not comply with this procedure will not be considered.


2. Required documents


The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Project operating budget
  2. Financial statements for the last fiscal year
  3. Detailed project description


3. Processing and acceptance


The Foundation takes between four and six weeks to decide on a request for funds, due to the frequency of Board meetings. If the request is accepted, a letter will be sent specifying the amount of the donation and any conditions to be met. The beneficiary organization undertakes to:


  1. Provide, in due form and without delay, the supporting documents indicated in the letter of acceptance (invoices, statements of account, etc.).
  2. Communicate the Foundation's financial support to its members, beneficiaries, etc.
  3. Ensure the Foundation's visibility by displaying a sticker, poster, plaque or any other medium bearing its name.
